What goes inside your mind when you meet a new person for whom you feel attraction but know very little about him or her? Erotogeny is "500 Days of Summer meets Alain de Botton's School of Life". It is a surreal short-film experiment in which we follow the psychological journey of a man who is attracted to a woman for whom he knows only what he can guess about her by what he sees. This psychological journey of infatuation ends when he discovers the human being beneath the idol that he has made of her. However, not long after this epiphany he is back in the romantic loop when he meets his new (sub)ject of desire.

In part, we are what we see of ourselves in others. Everyone of us is like a mirror to the people we interact with. And, as there are mirrors in which we like our reflection, there are mirrors in which we don’t like to see ourselves. It’s like in the hall of mirrors that one can find in an amusement park; in there, there are some mirrors that makes us look ugly, or funny, or beautiful. Likewise, there are people in which we see ourselves reflected as a beautiful or an ugly person, or as a smart or a dumb one. We reflect ourselves in people as if they were mirrors. In some of those reflections we might appear as a bright, smart or talented person, or as a stupid, ugly or selfish one. There are people in which we see the best or the worst of ourselves. In part, we are what we see of ourselves in others. And, as there are mirrors in which we like our reflection, there are mirrors in which we hate it.
