Hello World!

This is the very first post in this blog! We are very excited about this new website. We are looking forward to having you visiting it every now and then. This is the new house of Mephisto Films where you can have a look at our past and current projects.

Film is a relatively new art form, and as such, there’s a lot to theorize about it. For us, this blog is the place to do it. Also, during film production we take notebooks with us, in which we write our experiences and production notes during filming. We will try to keep in this blog those notes and ideas that we find more interesting and relevant to the people in the trade. We’ve discovered that we’ve learned more from mistakes than from successes. However, mistakes are expensive in this field. So, we’d like to share some of our experiences here for someone who might find them useful.

Finally, for most films in the "Film" section we have also included behind the scenes material that you can find by clicking in the button at the bottom of the page for a given film.
